Oxford is the birth place of Alice in Wonderland. Lewis Carroll lived in Oxford most of his life as a student and then as a professor at Christ Church college. Alice, the daugther of the Dean of Christ Church college, grew up in Oxford. There are many places related to Alice and Lewis Carroll's life in Oxford and many ways in which Oxford influenced and inspired Carroll's writings. The best way to see these is to arrange a guided tour.
You can arrange a guided tour directly with us by email. A 90 minute walking tour will cost £60.00. This would be for a group of around 20 people. Any other entrance fees for access to Christ Church college must be paid in addition to the tour fee directly by the tour members. The tour will be conducted by Mark Davies, a local historian. Each tour needs to be arranged by email directly with us. Payment will be made in advance at the time of booking. Cancellation can be made up to 14 days before the arranged tour date for a full refund. Cancellation up to 3 days before will receive a 50% refund.
